        He was born in Istanbul in 1982. He graduated from Kocaeli University, Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, he worked as an emergency medical assistant at Taksim First Aid EAH.

        Between 2013-2018, he specialized in general surgery at Haseki EAH. Then, between 2018-2020, he completed his compulsory service at Bitlis Tatvan State Hospital. Since 2020, with Dr. Hasan Lice, they have worked with the Sava team for bariatric surgeries. He is married and has two kids.

        BIOGRAPHY

        Dr. Rifat Rasier

        During his medical education and specialization in ophthalmology, he attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in the United States, Stadtisches Klinikum Kemperhof in Koblenz, Germany, and The Western Eye Hospital, Imperial College in England. In 2007, he received medical equivalence from the General Medical Council of England and became a fully registered doctor in England.

        In addition to his ophthalmology education, he completed a master's program in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University in 2009.

        Continuing his career development without slowing down, Rasier completed his specialization in Ophthalmology at Bilim University in 2010.

        • He fulfilled his mandatory service at Kırklareli State Hospital in 2012.
        • He attained the title of "Associate Professor" in the Department of Ophthalmology in 2016.

        He completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University with a 4.0 GPA in 2017.

        As a result of his work at the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory of Boğaziçi University, Rıfat Rasier developed a procedure for laser-welding incisions in the transparent layer of the eye during cataract surgery, thereby closing the incision without the need for sutures. Current cataract surgeries either leave incisions open or suture them. Laser tissue welding experiments yielded positive results in closing incisions without stitches, reducing infection risks and shortening operation times.

        This work by Rıfat Rasier was published in an international book titled "Infrared Lasers for Corneal Tissue Welding."

        She was born in Serbia in 1992. In 2018, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology and Arts, FILUM in Kragujevac, specializing in Spanish language and Hispanic literature. In Valencia, Spain, she participated in a student exchange program for one year.

        After finishing her studies that same year, she began working at the international company Transcom WWW and was soon promoted to team leader for the Spanish market.

        Sara currently lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey, at SavaClinic as the general coordinator and advisor. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and reading books.

        She speaks four languages fluently: Serbian as her mother tongue, and Spanish, English, and Turkish as foreign languages.

        She was born in Kazakhstan in 2002. She is bilingual; her mother languages are Kazakh and Russian. Also, she knows English since she started learning it in primary school.In 2020, after graduating high school, she decided to study for her bachelor’s degree in a different country. Therefore she moved to Spain to study civil engineering at the University of Castilla La Mancha in Ciudad Real.Six months before she moved there, she already knew the Spanish language. With that, she started to help others, and after one year, she became a translator and a manager in an International Office at her university.In 2022, she decided to change her university and degree.         She is an experienced nurse and healthcare professional. Born on September 21, 1991, she graduated from the nursing program in 2008. Her career began at Çamlıca Hospital, where she worked until 2012. Since then, she has been serving as the head nurse at Avrasya Hospital.

        Her passion for nursing is combined with a disciplined and ambitious work style. Ensuring that her patients feel comfortable and safe is a top priority. Therefore, she meticulously supervises the work of the nurses in the hospital and ensures that all team members receive the best possible training.

By preparing personalized and effective nutrition plans before and after surgery, I support healthy and sustainable weight loss.

        In the institutions I have worked with, I have successfully managed the processes of hundreds of patients from different backgrounds and cultures. By prioritizing patient communication and empathy, I enhance motivation and support sustainable lifestyle changes. Educating and raising awareness about nutrition are key steps that significantly improve success.

        After completing my education at Biruni University, I had the opportunity to collaborate with various surgeons and hospitals, gaining valuable case experience throughout my career. I am currently accepting patients at SAVA Clinic.

        Through a multidisciplinary approach, I closely monitor medical conditions, blood test results, vitamin and mineral supplementation, protein intake, and hydration to support my patients.
